MVEF's Impact & Highlights in 2025-2026

Thanks to the donations from our amazing community, this is the impact we achieved in the 2025-26 school year for over 4,600 students in the Mountain View Whisman School District (MVWSD) together.

ART (GRADES TK-5)

  • >2,670 art lessons in TK-5

  • visual art shows with 3,078 pieces of 2D & 3D student artwork

MUSIC (GRADES TK-5)

  • >3,855 music lessons in TK-5

  • 73 x TK-4 concerts including SAI classes

  • 10 x 5th grade Band/Strings concerts including the summer honors performance

  • 560 x 4th grade students played the recorders

HANDS-ON-SCIENCE (GRADES TK-7)

  • 712 Living Classroom lessons TK-7 (representing a 2.4% increase in the number of lessons from 2024-25 to 2025-26)

  • 41 4th grade environmental science field trips and in-classroom visits,
    such as the Earthquake Geology classroom program and field trip, or the Farm & Wilderness Exploration (Hidden Villa).

  • 34 5th grade environmental science field trips and in-classroom visits,
    such as the MSI Discovery Voyage Boat Trip

AFTER SCHOOL SPORTS (GRADES 6-8)​

  • 21 coaches at Graham middle school and 17 coaches at Crittenden middle school

  • Most uniforms, balls, and other athletic supplies 

  • Referee services for all athletics games: 109 referees at  Graham middle school & 117 referees at Crittenden middle school

  • Supplemental funding for transportation to games (no playoff games)

SMALLER ENGLISH (ELA) CLASS SIZES (GRADES 6-8)​

  • 1 extra ELA teacher at each middle school, reducing class sizes by an average of 25% and allowing also more elective opportunities in the schedule

​CLUBS & OTHER ACTIVITIES (GRADES 6-8)

  • 21 clubs at Graham Middle School (Teacher stipends supplies for activities)

  • 24 clubs and the WEB (Where Everybody Belongs) Leadership Program at Crittenden ​middle school (Teacher stipends supplies for activities)

  • Supplemental funding for the musical production at both middle schools
