Since 1984, Mountain View Educational Foundation (MVEF) has worked in partnership with parents, the Mountain View Whisman School District, the community and businesses to raise money for essential K-8 programs no longer funded by the state and to provide a high-quality and well-rounded education for all our students.
In 2010-11, our goal is to provide $400,000 of funding for Art, Music and Science at elementary school and Extended Day Electives (EDEs) and After School Sports at middle school.
